“A problem in need of a solution”. The intellectual birth of GensisBlockConsultancy finds its roots in 2019 when Willem Blanken, cyber law and digital asset law student at the London School of Economics, realized that public awareness and general knowledge about Blockchain Technology were severely lacking. Even when he was discussing the topic with his same-age peers.

Blanken’s passion for blockchain technology started in early 2016 when he heard about the “blockchain” while listening to a podcast. Through the years Blanken continuously educated himself, studying the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem and attaining multiple professional certifications.

As the years passed Blanken met many like-minded Blockchain enthusiasts. One of these people turned out to be his longtime friend Keyan Ashtari. Ashtari started his own Blockchain journey in 2020 when Covid-19 disrupted our world. Sharing each other’s passion for Blockchain technology, Blanken and Ashtari brainstormed countless hours about the many possibilities blockchain technology had to offer.

Driven by this passion and encouraged by the love for educating, Blanken and Ashtari decided to combine forces and found GenesisBlockConsultancy.

GenesisBlockConsultancy’s core focus lies on providing blockchain and web3 education, creating business models for those who are willing to learn more about this exciting new technology.
